1. Consultation

Once you reach out, we’ll schedule a call or Zoom meeting to discuss your goals, vision, and needs. Every restaurant and brand is different, so this conversation helps ensure we’re a good fit and that your project is approached thoughtfully and intentionally.

2. Follow up

After gathering all the details, including location, timeline, usage, styling needs, and budget range, I’ll review everything and present a custom plan within 48 hours. This plan outlines recommended options, pricing, and next steps. Once a direction is selected, we move forward from there.

3. Props

Depending on your project, props may be required to support the overall look and feel. I source and coordinate any necessary props to ensure they align with your brand and elevate the final images. All selections are reviewed with you beforehand.

4. Photoshoot

On shoot day, I handle all lighting, styling tools, and equipment. Depending on the project, I may prepare the food or work alongside your kitchen team as dishes are plated. My focus is to style, light, and direct each shot so the food looks its absolute best — allowing you to stay focused on your business.

5. Editing

After the shoot, images are carefully selected, refined, and retouched, including color correction, detail cleanup, and background adjustments where needed. Final images are delivered through an online gallery where you can view, download, and request any necessary revisions.

FAQ

01/04

Do you specialize in food photography?

Yes. I spent three years working full-time in food photography, styling and photographing hundreds of recipes. Since then, I’ve worked with restaurants and food brands across a wide range of cuisines and concepts.

Who styles the food?

I handle food styling for every shoot and take great pride in the details. If you already have a specific plating or presentation style, I’m happy to photograph it as-is while enhancing it through lighting and composition.

Do I need to pay for props?

That depends on your custom plan. I have a curated collection of props available at no additional cost. If specific or specialty items are needed to support your brand vision, those can be sourced and added to your plan.

Who provides the ingredients?

For restaurant and food brand shoots, ingredients are typically prepared in-house or shipped to me if needed. For food blogger or recipe-based projects, grocery costs are discussed and included in the custom plan.

How long can the images be used?

Image usage and licensing terms are discussed during the consultation and outlined in your contract. Most clients license images for one to three years, depending on how and where they will be used.

Where can I use the image?

Usage varies based on your needs — menus, websites, social media, print, packaging, or wall art. Licensing is tailored to your intended use and discussed before the shoot so expectations are clear upfront.

Will my images be resold?

No. I do not resell client images or submit them to stock platforms. I do retain the right to use images for my portfolio and marketing purposes, which also helps promote your brand.

Are your rates flat?

Rates vary based on the scope and goals of each project. A one-time menu update, ongoing monthly content, or large-scale advertising all require different approaches. All pricing is discussed during the consultation and confirmed before moving forward.
